Kinja'd!!!

I did the 4 wheels last night with bycle tires, and tonight now 12:12 I start the assembly while watching the Habs game on my DVR (now where I am it’s 2:0 for the Habs)

With my 5 month old son sleeping beside me. All this to keep this a secret till Friday for my soon to be 3 year old boy.

When do dads sleep?

Update: it’s 2 am and Habs are tied.

Kinja'd!!!

Enough for tonight, only fog lights and stickers left to do.

I remember waking up to my mom hammering on something in the living room. I was about five years old. I found her building wood cubes big enough to hold a bunch of books . She told me I had no business being up that late and I needed to go back to bed.

That Christmas, I opened the biggest present I’d ever seen. Inside was a kid-sized desk made out of those cubes.

I miss my mom.

Is 1:30am the time when they absorb the energy of the universe the best?

Yesterday was a rough hockey day. Habs blow a 3-1 lead, and my son let in 7 goals in what was easily the worst, most disinterested looking game he’s played. Oh well, there are more games.

Great looking little Jeep. My son’s first car, his Cozy Coupe got a ton of use. His favorite game with that one was NASCAR, he’d do laps around the house while I was the play by play announcer. He always had a lot of fun with the little cars he’s had over the years.

I’m not looking forward to assembling a trampoline next year.

Are you wiring some real lights? I’ve been toying with doing that to my daughter’s Jeep. These seem like they’d fit nicely.

I want to but something that uses the least power as possible.  Don't want to lower ride time because of lights

I figured I’d tap the factory battery, and if it (noticeably)  affected the ride time I would add a secondary battery for the lights.

I think I set a record for assembly time on one of those. 90 minutes from opening the box to kids climbing up; they did help a little but not much.
